OUR STORY

In 1999 we were a group of strangers who gathered together, got to know one another, liked doing things together and planted Cascade View Covenant Church in east Vancouver. We sought to be a safe place to seek and serve God. Over the years we have loved, served and cared for those in our church ‘ohana / family as well as our community. We have been described as serving God and our community by doing things above and beyond our weight class.

God has been good and incredibly faithful to us over all these years and has extended a ton of grace to us. The life of a church, like our lives is a journey of learning, changing, surprises, new chapters and stories. We are at a new beginning and new chapter in the life of our church and invite you to become a part of an ongoing story.

Our mission is to advance the LOVE and WORK of Jesus through our lives and in the world every day.

We accomplish advancing the love and work of Jesus through our lives and in the world every day through these four areas.

We SERVE by being present in our community.
We WORSHIP together to deepen our relationship with God.
We GROW with each other by being learners of God’s word.
We INVITE so others can know Jesus.
